I am appalled by the lack of communication and responsibility provided by this team. I would also like to mention that 20Twenty SPEED and Alain made several misrepresentations about their business, They overcharged me and never performed many of the tasks they agreed to honor, Their inability to perform certain repairs led to several mishaps, including fuel leaks, motor and wiring problems, error codes, air/mixture, gear locking/limp mode, a/c causing idling/stalling, overheating engine, etc., In addition, the constantly had delays and made several excuses in response. They clearly failed in their duty to act honestly in the overall performance of their obligations. I warn any prospect customer to read the other reviews and posts before engaging with 20TWENTY SPEED and Alain in any manner. Have taking them to court. Whatever you do. do not trust these fools
From day one, dealing with Alain and the boys at 20twenty Speed has been a pleasure and have always trusted their expertise with my '09 CTS V. Taking the time and willingness to provide help was important to me and made me the loyal customer I am today.
If you had ask me a month ago if I had ever heard of 20Twenty Speed I would of said no. I have had my 2009 Shelby GT500 for 4 years now, it ran ok but never ran great. This car is my dream car and my baby. I tried to get my car into Dasilva Racing but they were always booked and had a huge back log of customers due to Covid lockdowns. A friend turned me onto 20Twenty Speed. Initially I was a little hesitant because they had a few bad reviews on google. But after a few telephone conversations with Andrew and Alain. I got a good feeling about them, they answered all my questions and had all the right answers. They always had time to answer my questions and I never felt rushed. So I brought my car there, Andrew gave me a tour of their facility and showed me a few of their project cars. I’m a stickler for detail and all I saw was nice work, the way I’d do things if I was doing it on my car. So I handed them the keys to my car and said see what you can do. Well they diagnosed the problem with my car and addressed it. When the car was Dyno tuned the numbers were awesome even more amazing was the Dyno sheets, to see horsepower and torque curves like they obtained are amazing. You don’t get curves like that unless you know what your doing. I was so impressed with the results. After seeing that I had them put a new set of gears in the rearend and instal my VMP triple pass heat exchanger. Another thing that impressed me is how they document everything they do. Andrew was able to show me pics of the gear pattern in the rearend. No whine or howl in the rearend. The installation of the heat exchanger was perfect. The wiring was all nice and neat, everything was all zip tied and almost looked factory. The team at 20Twenty Speed totally impressed me. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending them or going back if I had any future mods to do. These are straight up car guys who care about their customers. They took the time through the whole process, to address my concerns and kept me up to date as things were done on the car. Their prices were fair and I don’t mind paying for good work.
If I could put ten stars down I would. This is my third vehicle tuned by them. my most recent experience was a getting a tune for dod delete and cam, my truck runs excellent and smoother than it ever has. Would Highly recommend and will be continuing my business with them in the future.
This will be my second vehicle being worked on by these true car guru's, Andrew & Alain provide a professional shop environment, they spend the time to walk you through your dream car project and provide solid advise on how to achieve your goals. I took my 69 Torino there for some fine tuning and setup on the Dyno and they managed to get me an extra +25 HP .. What a great experience! My car is more responsive and I get better fuel mileage . Thank you !!
