They refused to let me in with my 6 month old baby, because only the donor can go inside. I told he is six month old he is definitely not going to stay at home or in the car alone. If she has any kind of sense she could get me inside with him. But honestly I don't think she want to work at all. Why will she work if she can just sit down and get paid any way
They cancelled my appointment without telling me on the day of. They didn't even call. I know you've got my #.... 40 mins been waiting outside in cold for my ride to come back 0 people entered the clinic. I'vedone 50+ donations and they didn't even try to offer a other appointment. Good riddance! Hema Quebec here I come!
Didn’t get to donate blood because of my naturally small veins (an issue I usually deal with by having nurses use a butterfly needle/ baby needle) but unfortunately they didn’t offer that or have it here. Regardless everyone was so nice. I wish I could’ve been successful. Thanks for being so kind everyone !!
Similar experiences to others. Tried donating by blood to help. No way it should not have been a problem but used their own interpretation of the 'rulebook' to find technicalities. I will never ever give. Let them buy it from the US until they learn what an awful job they're doing. The staff truly is without humanity top to bottom they could only find self loathing.
The wonderful souls at Canadian Blood Services on Brant Street in Burlington are all heroes indeed. I presented myself impatient, grumpy and selfishly resentful for having to leave my bubble and detesting the COVID-19 precautions. I left deeply convicted by their patient, professional, courageous and gracious approach even with meticulous adherence to COVID-19 protocol You are my angelic heroes. Too bad there are only five stars. I thank you and may God bless you all.
