We were so pleased with our bathroom renovation, we had the Renewation team back for a small outdoor project fixing some work that a prior contractor had done poorly, and expanding a small patio to fit the hot tub. Some of the original work had heaved due to winter freezing and a tree root that the first contractor hadn't bothered to remove, and a gap between the driveway and the gate created a major tripping hazzard. Over four of the hottest days so far this year, Adam removed the old work (and the root), and created a proper step from our driveway into the back yard, concealing a downspout so that it now drains into the garden. He also moved the hot tub and enlarged the patio it was sitting on. When the work was done, the yard was left as clean as it had been before he started. The finished product is exactly what we had originally envisioned and we know it will last for many years! We love it!
Adam and Ashia (and Joanna, behind the scenes) from Renewation, are an incredible team and wonderful to work with! They took our basement bathroom from bland and boring (and small), to "the best room in the house"! The project involved completely removing everything, including the floor and a closet in an adjacent room, rerouting all the plumbing and electrical, and building out a larger, beautiful, comfortable space. The walk-in, curbless shower is wonderful and the entire space is so much more functional that before, and we're proud to show it off! The team is very easy to work with, very professional, and fun to have around - always smiling and happy. They have great suggestions and always have a solution ready for any questions that arise. Adam is a perfectionist, skilled at many trades and happy to explain how and why he approaches the various aspects of the project. Project challenges (incorrect/damaged material delivered by our supplier) are taken in stride and fixed without issue. We were so pleased with their work that we've already had them back to do a small, outdoor project (another review for this will be posted), and have booked them to renovate our main bathroom in another month or so. The team at Renewation have done an INCREDIBLE job with our basement renovation. For context this was a 2 level gut job where the lower basement area needed new walls, ceiling and floors. Upstairs we had custom built ins put in, new flooring, and the team re-insulated the walls. This took about 3 months of work in which the team (Adam and Ashia) diligently and thoroughly transformed our space into a beautiful and functional living area, gym space and laundry room. Not only were they really detailed and did a beautiful job finishing everything, the best thing about them is they're just great people to work with. Super responsive to any issues, worked around our busy schedules and our sometimes-working-from-home. They are energetic and brought creative ideas to life when we discussed how we wanted things to look, they would make suggestions that built on our ideas to make it even better. A special mention should go to Joanna, who is the behind-the-scenes mastermind who not only communicated with us on an almost-daily basis to tell us where we were at with the project, but also handled payments, invoicing and discussions around what we needed to consider when it came to design decisions. Joanna is also lovely to work with, super responsive and easy to talk to. A huge thank you to the Renewation team, we're so in love with our new space and can't believe this is our house now!
