Best butcher in town! And in Canada! Part of the Canadian butcher team. Too quality meat, great, interesting products like the gouda and kale sausage. There is always lots of friendly staff to help you and answer any questions you have. The beef is too notch with options in Wagyu. Beautiful steaks, dozen different sausage flavors made on premises, ready to grill seasoned and marinated meat and a salad bar to finish the dinner. Once you try J & G Meats, you will never go elsewhere.
I make minced pies every December and have tried a couple butchers in the area in the last 10 years. I finally got to J & G and have gone any where else. Service is excellent and the meats are top notch. To everyone in need solid butcher in town, this is where you need to go.
Once again, not disappointed with anything that we buy from J&G shop. But I will say there’s a hot item alert that we tried today. It’s their chicken breast stuffed with goat cheese, cranberry, and spinach. Don’t walk run!! These little gems were absolutely beautiful and so tasty and the chicken was nice and moist. Hope they have them all winter long.
The best butcher in town! The sausages in particular are incredible. We’ve tried so many different kinds and have never been disappointed. Love that they rotate what they make so you can try new things. Blueberry Maple to die for!

Came in with my young family today, purchased 2 rib eye steaks. Just sat down for dinner after cooking them and they taste rancid and are inedible. Super disappointing since we paid a good penny for them. Was excited to try this place after such high ratings and the customer service was excellent. Not sure what happened if this was a quality control missed or what.
after being prompted to call in advance, which I did two times my simple order has been denied, this is mysterious to me, because, before for weeks on end, I could walk in and purchase what I had been looking for. customer service is terrible.
