I’ve tired a lot of coffee shops in the Burlington area, and this is easily one of my favs! Their espresso is so smooth, I actually purchased a bag of beans because I enjoyed it so much.
Coffee has become quite a ritual and vital part of my life day to day, and because of that I make sure I do a lot of research when it comes to sourcing new beans to try. Discovering Firebat has been an absolute breath of fresh air and from my opinion they offer some of the best beans I have ever had. If you take your time and learn about Firebat's approach and partnerships in the industry you will quickly see why their products to me are second to none. Specialty beans, direct trade, shade grown, unique product offerings providing exposure to different varieties and processes, and full transparency to their business and partners. I always seek to try new beans and roasters but will always have Firebat in my rotation at all times.
Just stopped by to purchase their espresso roast and tried it at home. It’s a solid high quality roast. The shop is also very tidy with a modern minimalist vibe.
I stumbled upon this place and was delighted as soon as I entered! It was obviously an on-site Roastery, clean and bright and smelling of delicious coffee. The barista told me that the owners are from South America and know most or some of the farmers of their coffee beans! They are ethical farms that adhere to ecologically sound farming practices. Would definitely return!
Really delicious coffee. I got a latte in the morning and returned later in the afternoon for another one because it was so good. Not much seating available but they do coffee really well.
