I have been coming to the Brant location for quite some time now, and while the coffee is good, I am frankly disappointed by the atmosphere. The baristas have always been super great! The problem is the client base. Everytime I go, there are some very weird customers that very clearly make the staff, along with other patrons uncomfortable. I had one older male patron come up to me and wouldn't leave me alone. I would love to come back, but I at this point I don't feel safe.
Visited this lovely little coffee shop today. It has a great atmosphere and excellent lattes. Downside was I have never had such cold, aloof and standoffish service. There was even a shift change while there and the incoming staff was almost as unfriendly as the earlier staff. Not sure I’ll go back.
Passing through Burlington today......purposely stoped at this coffee shop,( 1 st time). ☆ saw on the shelf they have their own coffee brand . ☆ place was clean not busy ☆ my coffee drink was good I liked it Barista seemed very quiet , not wanting to engage in conversation, politely I said good morning I don't think it mattered, I also tiped , I just think that when you choose to tip , a simple acknowledgement would be nice. I don't know maybe it's just me.
Bro the cookies had flies in there and when told the guy didn’t even bother to eliminate the stuff nor did something for flies and continued. It’s ok what would you like to have
Look, I am not a coffee snob, or a connoisseur. I do like to make espresso at home, and I do like to try different coffees, different beans, so I have some** familiarity with the coffee 'n bean scene. But what I will say, is when you order a coffee from TAMP, you suddenly realize what coffee with a "full-body" is all along... Had the cappuccino once, now addicted. Don't know how they get so much flavour, balance, out of their beans. They're doing something right. Not exceptionally more expensive than any(many) other coffee shops, so no major issue here. Amazing cup of coffee, great balance, not super acidic, smooth-body and packed with flavour.
This is a local, small but cozy coffee shop located near downtown Burlington. In-house coffee beans are sold here. Pour over, drip, and espresso coffee are sold here. Merchandise is also available for purchase.
During COVID-19 I have been making a real effort to support local including coffee shops. I go out of my way every Saturday to go to Tamp (Brant St location) and the young ladies are always very friendly. Today I was served by the owner and will never go back. He was rude and extremely unfriendly. Our order was not even correct but we said nothing because we were unsure how he would respond. It's unfortunate because I enjoy Tamp but after today I won't be going back. There are plenty of other local coffee shops in downtown Burlington.
