absolutely fantastic fish and chips! The fish was perfectly cooked—crispy on the outside, tender and flaky on the inside—and the batter was light and not greasy at all. The fries were golden, the tartare sauce was freshly made and delicious. Portions were generous, service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Everything tasted fresh and made with care. Easily one of the best fish and chips spots around—will definitely be back!
Definately deserves 10 stars. Best fish & chips ever! Decided to order while waiting for an area rug I was washing at the laundromat next door and do happy that I did. The fish cooked perfectly. The chips could have been a little crisper but I will definitely be ordering from them again. The owner was so pleasant, and added bonus. Thank you Sea Shanty :)
The food was excellent, light batter, flaky fish , all cooked to perfection including the huge scallops and lage shrimp. I am a foodie and very picky . The atmosphere was inviting, cozy, nicely decorated and clean .The owners were very friendly and accommodating. I did pu ( we sat at bar while we waited) for 3 picky eaters and all of us were extremely delighted at how scrumptious the food was. The prices are affordable. A must for everyone to try and I know definitely on my repeat places to eat.
Finally tried this hidden gem in Burlington. Outstanding service right from the get go—warm reception and very posh fish n chips place. Obviously we tried their famous fish n chips and also the ‘chicharon’ style wings and both didn’t disappoint. Ambiance, great food, and most importantly fantastic service—a must try. Will certainly come back and highly recommended. Pinoy pride!
Absolutely the worst fish and chips I have ever had. Paid extra for the halibut and it was awful. Dry and chewy! The chips had been fried and refried several times I think. I am from England so have eaten fish and chips for most of my life, so I do know what I’m talking about. So paid over $40 for my husband and myself and had to throw our dinner in the garbage. Would never ever go there again.
They were the best in my opinion. Not sure what happened. Cod was way under cooked my wife tossed hers, no vinegar “No vinegar!!” Come on man seriously! We also added in message for vinegar . No salt either.:((
Love this place, yes it's very dated, needs a lick of paint, but the fish and chips are great, good value for money and service is great too, all in all, 5 stars
