Modern Love Jewellery did a beautiful new remake of my broken wedding ring. I added my diamond earrings to it and some diamonds from old work pins and, voila, Kat came up with a design that I loved! If you're looking for custom work regardless of the type of piece, look no further! The dedication and enthusiasm provided from MLJ was above and beyond our expectations. They are not only business oriented but completely understanding of ones life. We have a child, and were encouraged to bring our young daughter along. Even in this situation, we were never rushed, or made to feel a burden.. rather encouraged to spend the time discussing the intricacies of the work desired, as well as getting to know one another through this personal matter. We were provided with more information then we knew what to do with which for me, was fantastic as I know next to nothing about jewelry. Another added bonus was having the opportunity to see the piece sketched out in a 3D CAD Model, and then produced as a Wax model. This made the whole process so much more comforting knowing I could see and feel to a degree what would be the final outcome. All three of us were over the moon with our experiences, how our pieces have turned out, and certainly have intents of doing more when time permits!
We worked with Kat on my custom engagement ring, she made the whole process very approachable and fun. From our initial conversation via email, she was able to source several beautiful stones for us to choose from. We provided a design and Kat was able to execute perfectly. From start to finish, the whole process was great. Kat was very prompt to respond to our communications and accommodating to meeting times. We weren’t really sure what to expect with going custom, but our experience was excellent. Can’t wait to work with you both on my band!
I've had the absolute pleasure of working with Kat and Paul on a really special project. I had a lot of old gold I had collected over the years that held a lot of sentimental value. I had outgrown most of it, so I decided to trust them with recycling the old gold and turning it into something I can wear again. They spent countless hours designing a pinky ring for me, and what they came up with is nothing short of phenomenal. The time and effort put into locating the best castors, the best gems and the right engraver attests to the quality and passion they share for jewellery. The entire process has been smooth, fun and exciting to say the least. Kat's patience, vision and ability to explain things has made this experience an amazing one.
