OMG! Farm Fresh Meats tastes awesome! I’m a new customer and recently had my first taste of their Bacon, Chicken and Salmon. It’s hard to explain but the meat tasted clean and fresh.? For example;I forgot to season my salmon with a little salt and pepper before cooking and instead of cooking in a little bit of butter I used vegetable oil. I thought it was going to taste awful like store-bought salmon I usually cook, needing tons of lemon, salt and pepper. But the Salmon from Farm Fresh Meats was delicious!! I ate it without any seasoning!! It was so good I forgot about my side dishes No more Big Box meats for me? Thank you Farm Fresh Meats❤️
We love our meat order ! Tad has been our guy for the past 3 years, and I never want to stop ordering from farm fresh it is undeniably the best meat I've ever had, and the convenience of only having to go grocery shopping for the basics gets me in and out of the grocery store fast ! Would give higher then a 5 star if I could.
This is our third year ordering our meat and groceries with Farm Fresh Meats and we have no complaints. Tara is absolutely amazing and worked with us to figure out what our family’s needs are. They’ve kept their promise and the price hasn’t went up in the three years that we’ve been dealing with them. Truly a pleasure in dealing with this company!!
When the sales team came they told me that the prices will be lower than that off the market because we are getting it in bulk. He is saying $8 dollars here and $8 dollars there. Which is kind of ok at first, and then when he ask us what kind of meats are we getting my husband said that we would prefer chicken breast more but upon delivery we received more dark meat, and we also asked about what kind of fish, and same thing it wasn't the one we wanted. we got some of the items we didn't want. And when we weighed the boxes, the weight of the meat is the fraction of what it should have been. When we asked the delivery driver if there is a second delivery he said that there is none. We tried to contact them right away , but the questions were not answered. Instead we were asked if we were not satisfied with the meat, we told them we didn't even tried the meat yet. We just want to know if there is a second delivery as what the sales man said. and that we can have a detailed invoice as what he told us, but both are not answered and now they are not replying to our e-mails. i want them to take their stuff back. I'm feeling totally ripped off. Their customer service is totally non-existent.
We have ordered Farm Fresh Meats 3 yrs in a row and they are fabulous from start to finish!!! Tara the woman who helped us order is super helpful and we look forward to her visits! The meat and grocery order is great for our family with teenage boys! I still have cleaning supplies from our first order! The meat is top notch and delicious every time consistently! I highly recommend them!
Would definitely recommend this company to others. Lots of selection, good quality and taste. Great customer service. Great option to cut out the middle man. We received a freezer our first year, which was a great added bonus. Excellent time saver as well. Highly recommend Tad as a rep.
Edit to respond: I am, in fact, a customer under my full name and can provide my account number. First impression review (keep reading for updates later on): Just received our order today. We did this for convenience and quality. The regional sales woman who made the sale was pushy, but that’s in her job. It wasn’t over the top. The freezer was smaller than expected- which is a good thing. 11 square ft. The deliver guy was friendly and thorough. He had 2 orders to deliver and the others order was integrated into our boxes so we had to spend some extra time with him sorting. We are missing 1 case of the salmon filets. Update 2 months in: the driver delivered the salmon the next day. All meat is decent. Chicken thighs are mostly bone and cartilage, ground chicken is pasty/sticky but makes great chicken nuggets, salmon is discoloured and packaging is loose- not vacuum sealed well. Not ALL meat is from southern/central Ontario as they advertised, but most seems fit. Don’t do the pantry stock- it’s not worth it. It’s a lot, but not worth the price tag… do it yourself in one big costco trip if you want it. They make it sound good when they say the weekly price, but don’t forget that that’s a lot more monthly. I’ll be back to update after we’re through all the meat for a better review! UPDATE: the salmon is gross, the chicken thighs are NOT WORTH IT and good luck talking to anyone after the freezer is dropped. Their customer service or horrible and they won’t return your calls. Conclusion: the first time ordering is a learning curve for you to place an order that better suits the quality and your needs for the next time. We will place another order, but wish we had more knowledge on the quality of certain products and customer service in advance.
