I’ve always loved the selection for comfort & style at this store but I think the subject of the clearance racks should be addressed.. Whomever sets these prices for the clearance racks I just ask, do you have rocks in your head You’d think you’d want to clear the store of theee items, maybe list them for less than you have advertised on your last sales. This makes you look foolish & your also price gouging your customers. I must say I’m quite satisfied when I see the same items have not sold visit after visit . You would think the would clue in & reduce it to actually clear it
Very rude customer service. Came into store and asked employee if they sold the Nike p6000 or asics gel nyc and he straight up mocked me saying if google doesn’t say it, why would we sell it and they he laughed and said I’m not dealing with you . Very bad service and you shouldn’t come here if you have to deal with such rudeness
Most pathetic experience ever. While shopping, the manager sent one of his lady employees to my wife, who was in a call. The Lady started harassing my wife to leave the store as taking calls was not allowed. Can you believe it!! Then when I confronted them, the lady started making excuses and the manager was most rude with me. Forget about an apology, he doubled down with the racist act! I don't know who is reading this, but such people can't be allowed to behave like this
I visited this location yesterday with a child and had a negative experience with the cashier. As a minority in a predominantly white community I felt that he did not want to go out of his way to assist me. There were so many things that he did not do to make the experience a positive one. I contacted the manager and was told that this cashier is a nice person and would not behave in this way. After asking to have their district manager contact me, another store manager contacted me and basically said the same thing as the first manager told me. They were basically trying to minimize his behaviour and tried to make me look like a complainer. I know how I felt by his behaviour and as a visible person of color I will not return to this store to have them disrespect me and bring me to their level. He may not have done this intentionally but his body language and behaviour was clear. I do have to say that Ryan saved the day and assisted the child to find the item.
Just went in for skate sharpening and the technician was very helpful. During the wait walking around, all staff were very attentive and willing to assist.
Always authentic brands in there, and even some surprises might catch the attention. Fair good experience with them. Nice!
By far the best Sport Chek I've ever been to! Every time I come here to shop at this location has been a great experience. I was browsing around and saw a pair of Nike pants that I liked. There was a 25% off Nike promotion going on for apparel and my item had one of those promotion ads on my hanger. I went up to the cash to pay and they told me that my item was already marked down so I couldn't get the additional 25% off. I asked them kindly if they can honour it and to my surprise the manager authorized it! The staff are very helpful and friendly here. I will definitely be coming back to this location again and again.
Excellent staff at hand in the Burlington Centre store. I had to make an exchange and a staff member gladly went to search for the items I needed while I waited at the front desk. While waiting for my items, I witnessed another customer arrive hoping to pick up an order of Heely's that had been sent to the "Fairview," location. Unfortunately, the Fairview location was actually the Fairview Mall store location 70 km distance away. The Burlington store is located at Fairview Street & Guelph Line in Burlington. A senior staff member explained the misunderstanding to the customer and then explained that they would call the store where the Heelys had been sent and the North York store would ship them to the Burlington store for this customer. This is the way all stores should operate especially when these mix-ups occur. This customer was pleased to have their situation resolved without inconvenience and SportChek didn't lose a sale or a customer.5 stars!
I brought my bike in for service to this location because my original store closed. They were very helpful, knowledgeable and did good work. I have bought 3 bikes from Sport Chek over the years and have not been disappointed.
My ten year old bought a bike last year with his own money, rode it less than 5 times but we were very disappointed when the derailer came off. I didn't have a reciept, but still brought the bike in and got the part replaced quicker than I expected and at no cost to boot. Very satisified
