We reached out to them last year for window coverings for our bay windows. We had a couple of in-home consultations, and while the initial meetings were promising, communication quickly became a challenge. I had to follow up multiple times to get updates, and after the last visit in October, I never heard back from them again. Disappointing service experience, especially after investing time and effort into the consultation process.
First receptionist booked in home consultation and after some hours left me voicemail that area is not under quotation. They first gathered info and then denied service.
Maina was wonderful and very helpful. Showed us lots of samples and styles. Being able to get in a store and look at actual styles and colors is so much better than on-line. We set up an in-home appointment to do measurement and have a professionals opinion of what to do with our bay windows. Most motorized roll-up style cassettes are so large.
Not impressed with the overall quality of the Hunter Douglas window coverings purchased, especially for the price paid! Installation was not the best either, carelessness was an issue.

Covid made the process a challenge but the team of experts at Salnek's arranged communicating via video, email and many phone calls. We are so pleased with the results .. especially with our sales consultant Janet. Her dedication, determination and professionalism made it all possible. We hired Salnek's Burlington to install window coverings for our home. Apart from a few issues with the quality of the Hunter Douglas blinds (flawed material and buckled fabric), we were mostly disappointed with the installation process. The installer seemed to rush the installation and in the process, damaged our furnishings. Not so satisfied customer!
