Amazing donuts. The box is super adorable for donuts. Definitely will be back for more! Some thoughts though: Baristas should be trained on how to make lattes if they’re going to charge that much for lattes and ask for tips. Our latte was so hot, the milk was burnt. Also, the bathroom is extremely gross and dirty. Holes in the wall, soap dispenser broken, dirty toilet. I hate to think if the bathroom for guests is so gross how does the kitchen look like. Also, I truly think the tipping option is also uncomfortable. You’re not getting table service, you’re getting a coffee and donut passed to you. The establishment should pay staff accordingly without having guests needing to tip.
Donuts are amazing. Many great choices. I understand that this is a vegan shop but not every coffee drinker wants a dairy substitute. It would be nice to have the option to get the classic milk products in the coffee beverage. That wouldn't stop me from getting a baked good again but I would not get a coffee.
One star. We visited Bloomer’s Bakery on Plains Road East in Burlington on a Monday night and were very disappointed. A dozen doughnuts cost $50, which is far too expensive. The doughnuts were dry, tasted like day-old stock, and lacked the freshness you expect when you’re looking for the best bakery in Burlington. Every flavour was buried under overly sweet toppings, making them all taste the same. Instead of a treat, it felt like a diabetic coma in your hand. If you’re searching for fresh doughnuts or the best bakery experience in Burlington, this is not the place to find it. We will not return.
Of all the doughnut places in Burlington, this is the one I always come back to! Friendly service, delicious treats! I've had the coffee a few times and it was also good! Only street parking in front, so I'd advise parking nearby and walking over.
I hate donuts… these are not donuts, they can’t be. We love this place so much we will drive from Milton to get it, multiple days in a row. My sister has dreams about Bloomer’s—I wish I was kidding. 5 stars!!
Ordered a banana walnut loaf. It was the hardest object known to mankind. Also. Didn’t taste banana or walnut. It tasted like hard gingerbread & had chocolate chips in it Odd. When I ordered the last one. The young lady asked me. “Just one” I only saw one. Then I paid with a $10 bill. She informed me that she would have to give me my change back $4.35. In change. Two toonies, one quarter and dime. Nothing made any sense. Even my loaf didn’t make sense. Banana walnut loaf was gingerbread chocolate brick. I might try the place one more try. Give it one more chance. I was looking for a donut of a fritter. They only had Rose or pistachio. Nothing normal.
Amazing vegan donuts, huge selection of flavors and all were delicious! Also tried the iced strawberry matcha with oat milk, and it was incredible! I wish they were open slightly earlier so I could pop in to grab that drink in the morning before work!!
