Kandy Sweeties is an amazing community partner. They recently supported the Grimsby Kinettes Free Family Halloween Mini-Putt. The treats they provided allowed for us to have the kids trick-or-treat at each of our mini-putt holes. Check them out - they have a super cute shop! I had an incredibly frustrating experience with Kandy Sweeties. I placed an online order and received confirmation that it was ready for pickup, but when I arrived, the store was closed—on not just one, but two separate occasions, despite being within their posted hours. I've attempted to contact them multiple times through email, phone calls (two different numbers), voicemails, and Instagram DMs, but they've been completely unresponsive, save for one email asking me about the time sensitiveness of my order and that if I contacted them back they could make a time for pick up if the store was closed. I explained that I needed the items for that night and was hoping to pick them up that afternoon (again within their posted hours), and received zero response. This level of unprofessionalism is beyond disappointing. I strongly advise against ordering online, especially for in-store pickup, as they are completely unreliable and fail to communicate. It's unfortunate, as the store could be great, but their business practices are unacceptable.
Beautiful little store with friendly staff, amazing prices and such a fun selection of treats. My kids loved the surprise bags. The location cannot be beat on the beautiful waterfront. A must-visit for anyone with a sweet tooth.
Disappointed, my wife and I paid to park and then discovered the store was closed on Tues Sept 3rd. We were there around Noon Update: owner reached out and made things right. Revisited on Saturday, store has some nostalgic treats from my youth. Glad we went back!
