Paid 18cad for a small box of 2 item food. Lucky no tips lol. Even that chaw Mian takes 70% place which leave barely no place for meat. Getting ridiculous. Not recommended!
Wasn't expecting much, and was still severely disappointed. Shocking how bad the food was. The chicken tasted like it was made a week ago and reheated.
First time to try this food in this location. The food is over priced for its quality and taste. I ordered rice and general tao chicken. When I eat it my appetite is gone. Rice is overcooked the chicken tastes like soy sauce nothing else. I was so dissapointed and waste my money and can’t believe how overpriced there water bottle from walmart it was shocking. Will never ever get order food again here. Such a waste of money. Beware.
What has happened to Manchu? The general tso was burnt, the whole thing tastes horrible. So sad as I used to love this place. The take out container was TINY, not the 2 item plus rice container size I'm used to. Hopefully it's just this location.
I will always support this business. It is over 20yrs family owned and customer service is always 10/10. My partner and I come here all the time and I’ve been coming here since I was a kid. food is always fresh and portions are great. not really understanding all the bad reviews. It’s Chinese fast food it’s going to be a little bit salty But I’ve never had a meal that wasn’t fresh. In regard to the price, You are literally watching the staff prepare your meal if you’re not happy with the portion and say something.. again, I’ve never had small portions at this location they are always good sizes relative to the price. Any new item or food I wasn’t sure about, I’ve always asked for a sample and was able to try it before getting it on my plate. Going out for food is expensive in general in 2025 if you can’t afford it then eat at home. If you’re not satisfied with the meal, the staff and management at this location are very reasonable and if you went back and said something Instead of complaining online I’m sure they would be happy to fix the issue. It’s five stars for me. Food is delicious fresh and good portions. One of the original food court restaurants at Mapleview mall and for a reason !!!! Please ignore the bad reviews. This location is honestly the best.
I literally just tried the food and it was disgusting, I threw it out! It was impossible to eat. It was too old for the look maybe from one week ago or so. I will never come back to eat there.
My go-to chinese restaurant, most staff know my order, I could have gone anywhere for chinese but the spicy chicken from Manchu Wok called to me. I went there just before 8 pm, it had been sitting out cooking slowly all day, the meat was so tender it was like BBQ pulled chicken, the sauce baked on every piece. Only had one portion left so I got the one item with fried noodles. It is located on the second floor of the food court at the back of the mall on the Highway side (see picture for which mall entrance to use).
