Based on similar reviews, the customer service at this location is appalling and appears to be marked by racial profiling. I emailed the district manager, VP of HR, and CEO—and received no response. It’s clear that the poor service I experienced reflects a deeper failure in leadership at the highest levels of their corporate structure. If I could give zero stars, I would.
Today I visited and was waiting for placing an order. The sales lady was just sitting there and looked up and continued sitting there. She didn’t even say hi. She was just sitting there. was another person too just walked away so we left as-well can’t be standing there and looking at her sitting and acting like she’s busy when there’s customers. very disrespectful and rude very bad. I didn’t even get my ice cream
I just bought a Gift Basket for an event I was attending, left (still in the mall) and got an email saying the event was cancelled. I tried to return to the basket since it was maybe 10 minutes since I first purchased it. The person there did call their manager to see if they would allow it so I thank her but unfortunately the manager would not grant the refund. Disappointing since our company uses multiple Laura Secord locations for these events and our marketing but after this experience, we will not use Laura Secord moving forward. I am not disputing the policy, I know it exists, however flexibility to make a customer happy should be a priority.
They understaff and over work their very kind employees and they still serve you with a smile even though you can see that the pretty blonde girl was there all alone running the shop by herself like most days when I see her there poor thing treat you employees better !
I am Covid conservative, but today was ridiculous. Despite being at least 12 feet behind the customer at the cash register, I was barked at that only one customer is allowed in the store. The mall was three feet to my left. Sometimes common sense needs to prevail. I didn't order anything and left.
It's a good place to get chocolate treats, they have a a few different flavors of ice cream you can get. They 3 sizes of boxes that you can get different chocolates in or pre made boxes already done. You can get treats for yourself or as a gift for someone. Friendly staff who are very helpful. Place is always clean and tidy. Prices are good. You should check it out for yourself.
Good afternoon, I am contacting you to formally complain about Laura Secord policy of not receiving 100 dollar bills. Today at 1.45pm I had ordered an ice cream for my 3 year old and bottle of water for my self. Only to be turned away after i had recieved the items because the store did not accept 100 dollar bills CDN. My little guy had already eaten some of the ice cream and I had to take it away from him to return it to the employee upon her request due to me only having hundred dollar bills. I've been coming to this mall for sometime and have never had this problem before. Normally i wouldn't care but the look of disappointment and distress on my son's face has made me very disappointed in your tenant hence my complaint. There are no signs nor advance notice about the 100 dollar policy at the store or anywhere in the mall or entrances. I don't think a 3 year deserves to feel like the above mentioned nor should the mall or its tenants be neglectful to a three year old especially for a 5 dollar sale.
