The food has gone downhill since Mary and Aldo sold it. The pizza is doughy and bland. There's hardly any meat in the sandwiches and the pizza toppings are barely there. I liked the Italian bakery feeling and products that made it special.

I'm okay paying $7-8 for a sourdough at a boutique bakery in a neighbourhood where businesses have to pay high rent. But to get it home and find that it obviously wasn't baked today, and was pretty poor bread even for a day-old, this is very disappointing. Also the croissants, formerly excellent, have increased in price and decreased in quality. The girl working the counter was polite and helpful.

Used to love the coffee here, but last time I got a double macchiato and it wasn’t even close to what it used to be. I think they should receive more training on how to prepare the coffees

Desserts are 2 days old but not discounted. Should not sell stale desserts. If your Medium and Large drinks are the same price, then why have 2 different sizes. Very limited gelato.

Used to be our go to when walking in Burlington. Just went last week, and it was obvious that new owners were in place. Empty shelves, no Italian, Sicilian posters, food had gone up in price, $5 for a tiny sausage roll, no Italian cookies. Oh well. Slow service was final straw on top of bill. Another one bites the dust.

Note to the new owners - welcome to the neigbourhood - This location and its patrons were served by, originally Pane Fresco , which set the standards for this area and unfortunately NO one has been able to recapture the essence and quality of their offerings. High standard to meet if you want to make a go of this business.

The chocolate croissant was so light and delicious that I had to stop eating to take a picture and write a review! The place is lovely and filled lots of Italian coffee, sandwiches, baked goods. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating, plenty of parking next door, there is a clean washroom, overall a good place to visit and relax with coffee, also it right next to the beach so easy to walk to.
