Such a lovely store and Owner. My daughter and I drove down to visit, to support local and small businesses. We were on the hunt for a few things specifically and had some luck. Encourage everyone to stop by. Looking forward to checking out the Dundas store too.

Beautiful cozy store with huge selection of goodies. They’re also dog friendly so swing by on your pup walks. The employee Megan is so lovely - she gave my dog treats, and was friendly and helpful (without being pushy) in recommending stuff. A real gem in downtown Burlington.

Lindsay (the owner) greeted me as soon as I came in, and showed me a few things I was immediately interested in. She answered all my questions and spoke so highly of the crafters' items in the store. I browsed peacefully for a while, and took home some gorgeous pottery. I look forward to visiting again!

I just read a review from a year ago, and it prompted me to write one myself. Why? Because apparently not much has changed. A super nice store with an excellent selection. But I wasn't greeted or noticed either. That quickly makes such a wonderful business unappealing.

I enjoy shopping at The Handmade House at the Burlington location as well as the Dundas Location. Both stores are filled with an amazing selection of quality local handmade items. It feels great to be able to shop local and handmade in a storefront location, with such a great shopping experience.

I love the concept of bringing together local makers into one space. I'm always able to find unique gifts here. Great location, beautiful decor. The only downside is twice I've been unable to pay using cash (due to lack of change).

This is an ABSOLUTELY beautiful shop. There are all kinds of crafted goods in this location from soaps, jewelry, clothing, art, stainless, handmade cards, Candles, one of a kind items and the list goes on... I spoke to the staff and apparently there is also another location in Dundas The only negative is the location/ building doesn't stand out. It looks like a home tucked across the street from the Poacher. I would suggest doing something to make the location stand out more like painting the door red, or having a larger sign outside so people can see its an actual store and not a house. Otherwise, it is a great place if you know its there :)
