This was the shop that started me in the hobby back in the early 90's when they were further down plains road they were my exclusive shop for many years it was great when they had a store in st Catherine's because I had moved out here and givin up my car to save on gas ....anyway excellent shop excellent staff extremely knowledgeable you can't go wrong with Skycraft
A Burlington institution for RC planes and cars. Had been around for over 40 years with no decline in the store, the stock or the service. The guys that work there will leave you alone while they shoot the poop but are super helpful if asked.
I purchased 6 gallons of some nitro fuel. I live a few hours from the shop and told Kevin my brother lives near by his shop as they don't ship fuel. Kevin delivered the fuel to my brother in Grimsby, while Kevin was dealing with a family emergency that i didn't know of. I found out after. That's customer service people. Thank you again and i hope you guys get through this difficult time.
Good prices and good service. I purchased a charger from here for my LiPo battery and then when it had some issues I cake back and they gave me some free advice on how to fix it.
Thank you Andrew for providing such great service and really taking the time to help out with all my RC needs. Skycraft Hobbies has had parts for my Arrma that I could not find anywhere else, at a price less than everywhere else (not that other shops had any anyway). UPDATE November 18th: After being a customer for a few months now, and after a few visits, I can confidently say; Andrew is a great guy that goes to great lengths to help his customers out. Thank you for fixing the spring for my remote. I am able to drive my Konghead again! Thank you Andrew and Dale for identifying and fixing the JST plug and wire issue, saved me from buying a new battery. And yes, the Konghead drove on to that rock. Update Feb 10th Thanks again for all your help today, Andrew and Dale! Arrma Vorteks Mcqueen should be "faster than fast" for a while now. Those Duratrax Banditos have been great for ripping up the pavement, showing only minimal wear after about 15 packs so far!
I liked customer support however both purchased R/C Tanks broke very next day. You would expect much better quality for $100 toy. I have to say kids were very careful how they played and how they handed tanks and tanks were fun to play with. They didn’t even play outside (on grass) as per instructions. BTW english instructions are horrible. Anyway, what are my options? I still have receipt.
I usually email the stores prior to visiting to see if they have what I need. The first time I emailed, Andrew replied very quickly and even ordered the parts for me and everything went super smoothly. I very recently got into rc cars and I'm a complete newbie at everything. I emailed asking for certain parts with, of course, very limited knowledge on my part. Again, Andrew replied quickly but stopped responding soon after. Perhaps I'm just too new or he just simply didn't have the time to help me? I was looking for a store that was newbie friendly for me to learn at the same time but I guess this place might not be it? Regardless, the store is good if you know EXACTLY what you're looking for. They have a great selection at good prices. I have mixed feelings about my experience. Perhaps its worth giving them another shot. I would've given 3.5 stars if it was an option Update: I apologize if that review offended you but it was not entirely negative nor was it intended to be. I was only speaking from personal experience. The inquiries, however, are not premature as "this week" was not the only times this has happened. I am unfortunately unable to easily come into the store nor call in due to me being physically disabled. I try to be as fair as I can regarding my reviews to businesses. I ask your store first before anywhere else because I want to support local businesses. However, if I do not have a satisfactory experience I will take my business elsewhere. Again, the review was not completely negative as I have stated in the review that I had mixed feelings about my experience.
