Absolutely incredible sushi. Doma is hands down the freshest, most delicious sushi I’ve had in Burlington, and honestly anywhere west of Toronto. They get everything right: the fish tastes unbelievably fresh, the rice is perfectly portioned (never too much!), and they don’t drown anything in heavy sauces. Every roll is balanced and so flavourful. Highly recommend!
A great sushi place! I can confidently say it was a great experience from start to finish. The standout for me was the salmon platter, which was an absolute masterpiece. The salmon was incredibly fresh, melt-in-your-mouth. The presentation was equally impressive, with the colors and arrangement of the dish making it almost too beautiful to eat. What truly elevated the experience was the service. The staff were warm and attentive, They made sure every detail was taken care of, which really added to the overall enjoyment of the meal. Highly recommend!
Young lady at the front is rudest and doesn't know how to deal with customers, zero customer service i felt that over the phone and i have seen it when i picked up , you can find good sushi at many other places but when you feel you are not welcomed and find an attitude with no reason, that is disgusting
I have been eating at doma for 5+ years. It used to be good when the owners husband was the lead chef but ever since he left, everything has gone downhill. I stopped eating at doma 2 years ago because they were serving “warmed up and microwaved frozen food” and served raw fish that clearly was about to go bad. I went back to the restaurant again just to see if maybe they bounced back from being horrible, but unfortunately the only good(mediocre) food that was given was the raw salmon( wasn’t even that fresh it was falling apart). The rest of the food that I have eaten for years and know the tastes very well looked off colour, tasted different in a bad way and even one of the types of fish was yellow and within 10 minutes(I was hesitating to eat it or not because I was pretty sure it had gone bad), had become more yellow and discoloured the other food. Not only that but the “white nest” at the bottom of most sushi dishes served anywhere wasn’t a white nest and more of a vegetable put through a cheese grater (the nicest way of describing how it looked is saying it looked like white fries). For reference they didn’t do this 2 years ago and almost everything else had gone from bad to worse. Not even the most basic and cheapest of fish to serve (salmon) was fresh. I would’ve given a 0 star because every time I ate there the last 2 1/2 years and gave them the benefit of the doubt, I got mild food poisoning. I gave it a 2 only because I remember what it used to be… it’s sad that the best place to eat sushi has become one of the worst
Young lady needs an attitude adjustment. Terribly rude service. Went to complain VIA phone call and they blocked my number. They have bo idea what customer service means.Sushi could be the best in the world but it means nothing with bad service
Food was good but staff were really rude and unprofessional, we were attended by one of staff member but she was really rude one of my worst experience in restaurants.
Today, I visited and The food was tasty as usual but staff were very unfriendly and service was also really bad as We were attended by their staff member and she was so rude and unprofessional.
