I actually had high expectations for this restaurant because of the great reviews, but after trying it myself, I don’t think it deserves that rating. First of all, when I called to ask for recommendations, the person on the phone said, “I’m very busy, can you check the menu yourself?” Then after I picked up the food, I found out that the soy sauce they provided for the sushi was the saltiest I’ve ever had in my life!
A heads-up that this place is only take-out which was a surprise to us. So we arrived with the plan of eating in but instead had to order and wait in the car for the food. The wait time was decent and the maki plate that we ordered was good quality. Will be trying their hot dishes next as the store smelt pretty good!
We've been having Momo Sushi for a bit over a year now and I can tell you it's the best sushi in Town. Fair prices and fresh fish. Worth it every single time.
My favourite place for sushi!! Always fresh, which helped me love sashimi. Great premium rolls here too. Highly recommend the Volcano roll! You know a place is good when sashimi and eel taste fresh regularly. Never been dissapointed! Note it is only takeout but absolutely worth it!
The staff are friendly and helpful but the quality can vary wildly. I have had fresh, perfect sushi made on the spot for a quick lunch, but my recent party platter was a disappointment. The rice was chewy (under cooked or dried out?) and bland and it tasted like it was prepared the night before. The tempura shrimp are encased in a heavy batter which is too salty. Not tempura at all, but perhaps this is what they use for the centre of some of their maki. The platter was nicely presented but mediocre tasting. Not worth the $ and not the best quality for my guests. I will try elsewhere next time.
Taste: very adequate amount of rice and sauce. Recommend Kamikaze roll. Fish on sushi and sashimi is perfect portion and freshness. Service: no matter how busy the place is, you are always welcomed with big smile. Hope this place last forever.
I had never liked sushi, until my parents told me to try Momo Sushi. It’s quite honestly my new favourite take out. Always fresh, well made sushi, and great customer service.

Best Sushi Shop in Burlington! This is a small, family owned, take -out sushi shop that we are very lucky to have in the neighborhood. The food is always fresh and tastes amazing. My whole family loves what Brian the owner crates for us each week. We have ordered the Sushi boat from MoMo for parties at our house and our guests were always very impressed. Best Tuna Tataki I have ever had! Thank you for such amazing service and great food!
The food was exceptional. Had the Dynamite Roll, Spicy Salmon and Spicy Tuna. Each were incredible. The Dynamite was particularly tasty. Was very happy with my meal!
Never been a shush I fan till I was looking for carb free foods. He, Brain makes excellent fresh while you wait what ever you want. The entire neighborhood goes here now. Very healthy and a great change for the pallet.It's for take home only though.
