My experience at Rock and Road recently was so great. My bike totally crapped out and I had no idea where to take it or how much it was going to cost, and then I randomly chose this place and am so glad I did. The owner (Scott I’m pretty sure is his name) exceeded my expectations for sure; he was kind, humble, honest, went above and beyond, and the price was so super reasonable. The best part was he left my bike like new. I literally felt like I was riding a new bike. I am so happy with the whole thing and wouldn’t take my bike anywhere else now.
I've bought 2 bikes from Scott within the last 2 years. I loved the first one (Rocky Mountain) and upgraded it to the second one (Scott). Both experiences were very positive. I received great recommendations based on my specific usage, he didn't try to upsell me, and made sure it was a perfect fit. He reviewed the bike components thoroughly and made suggestions to maintain it. I will definitely be back to support a hard working, helpful local business and highly recommend if you're looking for a new bike shop.
I've bought 5 bikes from Scott at Rock and Road Cycle, and I cannot recommend this shop enough. Being an avid mountain biker, Ironman Triathlete, and mom of 4 kids on bikes, I was in the shop often. Scott makes great recommendations and always goes above and beyond to be helpful. It's not just about great bike service, he treats everyone with a lot of care and respect. I highly recommend this shop.
Scott was very rude to me. He practically told me not to come anymore. He just wants to fix expensive bikes. When I picked up my son‘s bicycle, the cost was over what was originally shared with me. Scott would normally call me and inform me of a higher cost before the work was done. This time it wasn’t the case and I wasn’t happy about it. Furthermore, when I tested the bike, some gears weren’t working and when I brought the bike back and told him about that he was adamant that he didn’t touch that part and literally chased me out of the store. Very unprofessional and not customer oriented. Not everyone can afford expensive bikes and I certainly wouldn’t buy one for my son and good mechanic should be able to fix everything without cherry picking and absolutely be respectful to their customers.
Scott was great to work with. Quickly helped me address an issue with my bike (had to remove pinhead security bolts). He provided helpful suggestions and speedy service. Will definitely return for all my bike servicing needs.
Terrible business. Owner pays for good reviews, offers discounts and incentives to do so, I came in with wife, owner tried to hit on my wife whole time, said things like “why be with a man who no speaks English” Went to fix child’s bike, they didn’t do work, over charge for parts and labour. Said sticker price was old, and he had to charge more. Owner not let me speak, says he couldn’t understand foreign languages As I leave store, he said country was better when there was no immigration ! Terrible , no bueno
I recommend Rock & Road Cycle and sports 100%! I have had really bad experiences in the past at other shops who weren't willing to help me out, but here I was pleasantly surprised! I was able to have not only my basic questions answered politely and professionally, but Scott and Derek were willing to fix up my bike (which really is at the end of its life span) so that I can use it while I search for a replacement. Super helpful, professional, have integrity and they take into consideration your budget.
