Both times of my visit, the reception staff told me to “go to another walk-in clinic,” even though the waiting room was nearly empty. It felt like a subtle way of turning walk-in patients away. On my first visit, the receptionist said the clinic was “closed,” and only after several questions did she mention the 1–2 pm break — but she never suggested coming back after 2 pm. When I returned another day after 2 pm, I asked for Dr. Julia and was told she is away until March and again told to go elsewhere. Only after further questions did she mention there is a substitute female doctor, but instead of suggesting when I can see her, I was still redirected out. Although I cannot assume intentions, it made me feel as though the clinic may be selective about whom they are willing to accept. I also submitted a new-patient application here and never received any acknowledgement despite multiple follow-ups. In contrast, another clinic nearby was in a similar situation — they also prefer patients with family doctors but still accept walk-ins. Yet the service was completely different. The receptionist there told me I could be seen as a walk-in doctor today, and if I applied for a family doctor afterward, they can accept me right away. The receptionist there clearly explained how many people were ahead of me, what time would be best to come, and the entire process. It was obvious she was trying to help, and I was able to complete my check-up without any issue. The contrast was significant. I hope this clinic improves its communication and treats all patients with the same level of respect and guidance.

While the doctors in the clinic are incredible, the reception staff makes it so difficult to get access to them, making it pointless. It’s incredibly hard to book an appointment as no one answers the phone or responds to voicemails. I totally understand that they might be busy, but as a doctors office, it’s critical to be available to patients. It shouldn’t take multiple days of calling to be able to get an appointment with your family doctor.

I’m genuinely surprised by some of the negative reviews about Woodview Medical Clinic, because my experience with this clinic has consistently been excellent. Every time I’ve called or visited, the staff have been kind, patient, and accommodating, even during urgent situations. I’ve always treated the staff with respect and understanding, and I think this creates a really positive experience on both sides. The receptionists, in particular, deserve recognition. They have always spoken to me with warmth and professionalism and have gone out of their way to help when I needed appointments on short notice. The doctors are fantastic as well. They take their time, listen carefully, and show genuine concern for their patients. I’ve always felt heard, respected, and well cared for during my visits. Overall, I highly recommend Woodview Medical Clinic based on my consistently positive experiences.

Reading the bad reviews about the receptionist made me right this review I have Ben Dr Mahdi patient since 2008 from his old office and I have never had an issue with him or his staff member they are always kind people have to remember the receptionist carry the heavy load of the work so cut them some slack and be a little more considerate .

Wow at the negative reviews. I’ve been coming to this clinic since 2018. My previous doctor retired and Dr Mahdi was able to take my wife in as patients. We have never experienced and issues with receptionist or Dr Mahdi himself. His thorough review of a medical issue that was overlooked by my previous doctor prevented me from having a major heart attack with a blocked artery. And with this, I thank him. So many people come to these clinics with minor aches and pains that a few aspirins and rest would cure that would help reduce the patient backlogs at these clinics. People should be lucky they actually have a doctor that will look after them because there’s many that don’t have one.

Have been a patient here for 8 years. I agree with the other reviews that the reception staff are so condescending, rude and disrespectful. Lately, it has gotten a lot worse - I guess due to the high volume of patients now seen at this clinic. I have always treated the reception staff with utter respect and politeness, meanwhile the phone calls (if they answer) are so rushed, and they make it seem like it is a MASSIVE inconvenience that you need to see your doctor. You can never get a same-day visit, even if you're very sick and require antibiotics. If I were a Doctor practicing at this clinic, I would be incredibly embarrassed to have front desk staff who are the farthest thing from patient-centric or compassionate.

Without a doubt, this is the best clinic I have ever stepped foot in. The level of care is extraordinary. Dr. Singh is my doctor, and he's phenomenal. While Dr. Singh was away, I met with Dr. Mahdi, who is just as wonderful. Their entire staff is kind, compassionate, thoughtful, knowledgeable, and dedicated. Truly, I wish all medical professionals performed at this level. (To the tune of "Yesterday" by The Beatles) Woodview, a clinic that's the best for me, Dr. Singh and Dr. Mahdi, they care for me, Oh, I believe in Woodview's care. Yesterday, I was feeling not so great, But now I'm here, and I don't have to wait, Oh, Woodview's care is first-rate. Dr. Singh’s kindness and Dr. Mahri’s smile, They go the extra mile, Always there to make me feel worthwhile. Woodview, a team so nice and true, They know just what to do, Oh, I believe in Woodview’s care. Why they're so great, I can't say, Their kindness never fades away, I’m grateful for their care each day, Woodview’s the way. Woodview, you’ve restored my health and made me new, Forever thankful, I will be true, Oh, I believe in Woodview’s care.
