My experience with Burlington Appliance Repairs was not just disappointing—it was appalling. The entire interaction was marked by incompetence, dismissiveness, and a complete lack of accountability. First, they botched the booking despite clear communication about the appliance needing repair. Then, they sent a technician who did not have the correct skill set to fix the problem- despite me explicitly stating which appliance needed service. This person was at my home for less than five minutes, accomplished absolutely nothing, and had the audacity to inform me they weren’t even the right person for the job. Yet, I was still charged $111 for this worthless visit. The situation only worsened when I attempted to speak with the service manager. It took three separate calls just to get him on the phone. When I finally did, he immediately began talking over me, showing zero interest in understanding what had happened or making it right. His tone was condescending, and his behavior was nothing short of disgraceful. I am now out over $100 and still have a broken coffee maker. Not a single apology, not a single attempt to take responsibility, and certainly no solution offered. Burlington Appliance Repairs does not just lack professionalism—they seem to have no regard for customer service, honesty, or even basic courtesy. Mistakes can happen, but their service department’s utter disregard for fixing those mistakes is unforgivable. If I could give them zero stars, I would. Steer clear at all costs
Unprofessional. Called 3 weeks ago to get an oven repaired. They said they’d have a technician call me for more info. No call. Called them back to inquire and they told me their repair guy isn’t covering Hamilton right now. No call back to inform me? What a joke. Amateur hour. Go somewhere else.
I called to repair a fan in my oven. Was told over the phone the process & the fees associated. We set up an appointment to which they showed up a day early at a different time! Then after reviewing the work they didn’t have the part so I had to set up another appointment. When I called to do so the fees and services changed so I questioned it as anyone would. I was then told (I assume because I was questioning their fees) I had to pay up front for the part & repair service before I was able to book an appointment! Who would do that? So I’m now out the service fee & my oven still needs repairing! Stay away!!!
Horrible service (came a day earlier than appointment- random knock on the door). Absolute scammers. Charged me $80 for a service call and told me I need to pay up front for a replacement part that hadn’t been ordered yet…. Stay away from this company.
Terrible. paid 300 and he did nothing. he told me he fixed the machine. He was here for 15 minutes and he did not try to run the cycle. He told me that I had something wrong with my water well and it would break eventually but it's ok for now. When I went to run my machine it's still broken and when I called to complain they said I needed this part for an additional 430!! They don't take VISA which I understand why. There is now no way of coming back at them. They won't even send the technician back out!! Stay away from this company
Called to have my appliance repaired - They mentioned they do not conduct the type of repair required and offered to send someone out for $75 to 'see what was wrong'.
Communication was excellent. Appt. Was confirmed day before and the repair rep contacted when he was on way. Unfortunately the problem we were having with washer didn't happen while he was present, so basically paid for a service call and his opinion. However based on his knowledge and the above would use again.
