I visited the Shopper’s Drug Mart at 2080 Appleby branch in Burlington to receive my RSV vaccine as prescribed by my family doctor. At first, one of the staff informed me that my insurance wouldn’t cover the cost and that I’d need to pay the full amount of about $230. I asked her to double check, and it turned out the vaccine was indeed covered, good thing I insisted. However, I was then told there would be an additional $20 fee just for the injection, despite being a long-time customer. When I politely asked the owner if she could waive this small charge as a courtesy, she responded in a dismissive and unprofessional manner. Her tone was rude, and the exchange made other customers visibly uncomfortable. After years of loyalty, I was extremely disappointed with how I was treated and will not be returning to this location again.
My wife and I visited this location to browe around and find out about new fragrances, Ahmed and Afnan were so Awesome! great customer service attitude, very patient and very knowledgeable of thier product, they helped us selected to very amazing fragrances.
Shout out to Ahmed - front store manager - for his extreme patience and professionalism to solve problems for customers. Thank you for going above and beyond for me on more than one occasion. Blessings!
Afnan at the beauty department was very helpful and friendly! I was looking for a lipstick shade I’ve been using for years but it’s discontinued; she recommended a very similar product and I’m loving it. She also offered to cash out all my other items and was super efficient and bubbly! I Love to shop here!
The pharmacists are very helpful and cheerful. They also have great customer service in the cosmetics section. Afnan in cosmetics would answer all my questions and help me choose the best products for my skin. I highly recommend this location.
Bad experience at the pharmacy! I asked to check the price of a drug and Mr.Jay told me wait for 30 minutes. Does it really take 30 minutes to check the price of a medicine? Teach some customer service skills to your staff and how to be considerate / unbiased.
I waited for 15 minutes for Canada Post, and no one was there. After a pharmacy employee called for help, the manager showed up, but he was disrespectful and had no regard for customers' time. When I asked politely about the Canada Post agent's break schedule so I could return, he rudely responded that he had no idea when they would be back. After 30 minutes of waiting, I left without service. It's disappointing that Shoppers would employ a manager like Dani, who clearly lacks basic courtesy. I won't be returning to this location, even though it's close to home. There are other Shoppers in Appleby that treat their customers with respect. Many other reviews echo this same sentiment about poor service at this store
