Fantastic experience! The pizza was fresh and delicious, the staff was polite and helpful in choosing my pizza…Super quick service too—got my order in no time. Highly recommended!
Language barrier.Once they got my order straight, asked me for my phone number to verify I’m not making a fake call. Fair enough. However upon showing up to collect my order the woman at the cashier said someone already picked them up!!! My question is did she fill my order o er the phone or did she sell them to someone else. Either way after a long day at work to say l am not pleased is an understatement!
What happened to my favourite pizza. The carbone pizza is not the same. It was horrible and the staff were not happy about being there! That used to be my favourite! Maybe it has changed owners
Ordered a vegetarian pizza (among other items). No modifications at all but when I received it, there was meat on top and under the cheese. I called to notify them and they said they would send another. 90 minutes later and nothing. I called back to ask for a refund and they referred me back to Uber Eats. The first incident I chalked up to a mistake. The second incident could have been chalked up to just being busy but both occurring on one order just showed me they didn't care. The second time I called I stated that I don't eat meat for religious reasons to impress upon them why they need to be more careful. The person I spoke to gave me the verbal equivalent of a shrug. First and last time I'll be ordering. Edit: upon the response I emailed them. No response back at all. I support local but I'm not giving my hard earned cash to a business that doesn't respect customers. Twice the Deal Pizza on Upper Middle rd continues to make custom pizzas, and cares about their clients. I'm regretful I tried a different place. Even if they make a mistake, they rectify immediately. Highly recommend Twice the Deal school this location on food prep and customer service.
This business needs to be more attentive and fine tune their process. I ordered a cheese pizza for takeout and then noticed there was a piece of pepperoni in my pizza. Upon returning the pizza and asking for refund they said they can give me store credit instead of refund. I refused and demanded a refund. After they called their manager they finally obliged but gave me cash instead of refunding my credit card.
Akshay was trying to deliver some pizzas to us and we had only moved in yesterday to our new apartment in Burlington. This gentleman waited almost a half an hour outside to make sure we got the order to our hands direct. We were wondering where the food could be and called the restaurant...they told us he had been outside and as I rushed down to find him...he pulled up almost instantaneously. No word of a lie! With some troubles with our new wifi and phones not being ON...(OUR FAULT!!) The whole Pizzaiolo family was incredibly kind... generous and patient, which truly made out night. Ps...I'm a Spinotta connessieur and I promise when I say the tomatoes are salty ...but nice tho. There's enough spinach but not too much and finally a location who knows about ricotta!!! Madona!! Thank you guys so much. Calling you tomorrow...what's your PERSONAL CELL PHONE NUMBERS!?!! ? Honestly thank you and see you very soon!! Akshay!!! I owe you one brother!!
First tried this chain's pizza from the Oakville store. It was really good. I've tried it from this Burlington store twice, and both times it was disappointing. The first time it was underdone, the second it was overdone approaching burned a lot. Their salads are nice quality and good value though. They seem to be in too much of a rush.
