I was looking for a fair price on a cat food that has been working really well for my senior cat's needs, and the folks at Best Cat were so helpful! Definitely the best price I've found for the Tiki cat brand in Ontario. I so much appreciate the work they're doing over there!
This store is incredible! It is a cat lover's dream. The brother and sister owners are so knowledgeable and helpful. I came in once on a whim and have been a die hard customer since. Also, their rescue efforts are wonderful. Cannot recommend enough
The most perfect cat store. They have everything you need for your furry friend and happy to support a local business instead of a big box chain; my wife and I drive specifically to shop here from St Catharine’s. We have adopted from here as well and you can tell that they take considerable care in the selection / qualification process with their rescue partners.
We first visited Best Cat looking to adopt a kitten or cat, and we ended up with two of the best voids. They are loving, easy going, friendly and perfectly well-adjusted (and we know this is as a result of Meagan, Kyle, Jen & team). They aren't even scared of the vacuum cleaner. Meagan and Kyle are easy going, super knowledgeable and really are into the best interests of these divine creatures, above all else. They remember us and the troublemakers; it's quite genuine. They are a role-model for how businesses that handles living creatures should operate. 10/10, won't go anywhere else.
Absolutely a one stop shop if you are looking to adopt a cat! Megan and Kyle are phenomenal and a great help when it comes to any manner of problems, like finding food for picky cats, or suggesting toys or other forms of enrichment for your cats!
I feel really sad leaving a 1-star review because a Canadian owned cat-centric shop is something I really value & wanted to support. Unfortunately, there were mistakes in my order, which is completely understandable and happens to the best of us, but it remains unresolved, after almost 6 months. After multiple calls, and emails I received 1 response, saying that the team will replace or refund the affected products. I chose replacement. Then radio silence afterwards. I emailed and called again, only to have the emails unanswered be told on the call that they will be following-up, which never happened.
I found Best Cat when I was trying to find Da Bird toys for my bengal kitty. This online shop has an awesome variety of kitty toys and treats, stuff that you can't find at big box stores or on Amazon. Delivery was fast and I'm all for supporting local businesses, especially friendly ones!
