We had an RV for sale from Simcoe Ontario. We delivered on April 29/25. During my journey to pick up my boy friend my front panel on left side came loose and was hitting my left tire so badly I thought I was loosing my tire. I mentioned to the young lady what happened. She mentioned to the manager what happened. He came out took my car in and cut off excess rubber and fixed it so it would be in place. A special thank you to Dave. He wouldn't take any money. Also they were getting ready to close. They were exceptionally great people to deal with. I highly recommend this place. It's always great to know we have people who are willing to go beyond. He also took off the plates from the RV. This was the day of our high ...high winds and rain which came through at this time to. Rated more than 5 STARS

2010 Toyota Tundra front strut assembly, no emergency but overdue. I was willing to (finally) move from dealership to independent (preferable one with good ratings). Went to Dave Kew for an estimate, asked me to pay for it, did that and accepted his estimate. I also accepted his "recommended" rear suspension work under the promise (verbal and in writing) that all the work is done in 2 days. He asked me to pay for the parts in advance, cash. Did that, waited for their call that they received the parts and brought the truck in. It took him 6 days to do the work, breaking the 2 days promise and passing a painfully critical due date for me. Paid the balance and asked for the brand and part numbers of front strut assembly. I was promised an email with the details (it never came). In the end I had to point out that the broken promise is disappointing because I really want to trust the shop for the future. Dave Kew simply told me not to come again if there is something I don't like. Well, I left, and I almost couldn't stop the first time pressed the brakes, direction felt different, long story short: I had to do a bleeding and alignment. Now it's OK. After paying almost $5000 to Kew, I still fear the worst, no warranty, questionable parts, careless work, maybe a complete write-off. Certainly, I made a five-star mistake by going there. I hope someone will learn from it.
Dave offers excellent and personable service. He actually cares about his customers. I was recommended to Dave years ago from one of his customers and today I will recommend Dave to others.
Absolutely amazing staff and service! We had a couple of issues with our antique car that had multiple other places saying ‘good luck’ to us. Kews was able to not only fix the issues but they found a couple of other problems and fixed them as well. They went way over and above anything we expected. The old girl hasn’t run this great in years! Highly recommend them!
Aside from them being nice,friendly and personable ... I brought my 2007 Jeep Wrangler to Dave, thinking that I needed an exhaust manifold and/or exhaust system, was prepared to spend around $600 but I only needed some bolts replaced and tightened. If he wasn't so honest, they could've just replaced the exhaust system and charged me big money. Instead, my bill was less than $75. Dave is now my go to mechanic and I HIGHLY recommend them.
