Big SHOUT-OUT to Stefanie Kaminski-Manager. Stefanie’s impressive leadership was properly executed with her team and superior Customer Service with me while her staff proceeded to locate another Browns locations for correct size Moon Boots footwear during Christmas mayhem throughout Mapleview. She was very charming and her staff were very friendly!! I don’t purchase women’s shoes for wife and daughters too frequently….but…. will return to Browns Mapleview from now on.
I Like the shoe quality and options they have at Browns. Staff are also very knowledgeable, professional and friendly. They have a large selection of fashionable mens and ladies shoes and boots. I have never jad a problem getting the pair of shoes that I find and like here. They also always see to have what I want in the right size. Highly recommended.
This is at the Mapleview Mall location in Burlington. Went in to buy a pair of men's dress boots. The "new" pair they brought out for me to try on was anything but new. It had crud on the bottom of the heel and had been clearly worn outside of the store. And it was the only pair in my size. I wanted to buy them and asked the sales person if they would consider a discount (anything!) given the state they were in. The Assistant Manager declined twice and said they would not give a discount but could order me a new pair...and I would have to pay the full cost first. Unacceptable. Clearly Brown's policy is not putting the customer first.
Strange, bizarre experiance. Found a pair of c10 shoes for my daughter. Asked if they had c13, they did...great. Sale person was polite and quick. When I went to pay the price was 65% higher than on the price tag. I queried why and was told that it's a different sku and that the manufacturer Sorel price it differently as it was a different size. We are talking child's 10 vs child's 13, they are considered toddler sizes. Sales person never told me this when he brought me the shoes. Very weird, seem like false advertising to me... Same shoe two child sizes bigger 65% more expensive!! Just imagine if they did that at clothing stores!! I refused to buy them out of principle and went and got different shoes (more expensive) elsewhere. The manager of the store couldn't really explain why this happened and just offered a sorry....don't think she really cared. ..just get the upset customer out the store.
Why do I hate this place? I don't even know where to start. Whenever I come in there nobody to greets me. If I need to get my size to try on, I have to chase somebody since nobody seems to be interested in selling me their stuff. If I do catch a salesperson they always don't have my size. I swear, EVERYTIME I go in there and ask for my size IT'S ALWAYS NOT AVAILABLE, "sorry, you would just have to order online" says one of their snotty sales rep. I mean 7 is fairly common shoe size, right? I don't know why you would sell shoes but not have size for it? One time I asked showed the shoe and asked for my size but the girl didn't even bother going to the beck to try and check if my size was available. Sometime I wonder if I look like a wino and that I don't have money to buy their shoes. Now what with another person's review about their returns, why would I take the risk of ordering online only to be refused a refund? I am never going in this store ever again. I am never going to any Browns period!
They didn't have my size in store. I bought my friend a pair of shoes and they didn't fit her. They refused to give her a refund because of "dirt" she had never worn them since they didn't fit her feet, so there was no way they had dirt on them and I inspected them myself. I'm almost positive they just don't want returns and blame the costumers. Never shopping there again and now that she's seen this, she isn't either. I wouldn't suggest shopping there.
Excellent customer service. Did not have my daughters size in Stock but offered to check company inventory. Found the size I needed for her at the outlet collection location. Great experience.
