Just went to the store, 2 items on sale (price tags attached were more expensive while at the register). 1 price mistake with 1 pair – coincidence. 2 errors – pattern. Disappointed.
Amazing experience with this location! I had bought a pair of shoes here a while ago, had assistance from Chelsea. Customer service was excellent! She was so friendly and helpful, 5 star experience this is my new regular store.
Unfortunately, the customer service in this store is completely lacking. I left feeling offended by the rude and indolent attitude of the staff. I would not normally write a negative review, but in this case I feel compelled to. I suggest doing your shoe shopping elsewhere. Here you will only experience frustration.
The customer service attitude exhibited from the store’s manager (of 16 years) is complete rubbish. I ordered a pair of shoes that had a defect, a smudge on the leather, that looked easy enough to clean, so I proceeded to wear the shoes for an event planned, but this smudge did not come out, and was clearly some kind of defect. When calling in to Softmoc they told me to bring the shoe in and the attendant in the store would be able to determine if it was a defect. They said if there was a smudge, or some kind of discolouration, regardless of having lightly worn the shoe, they would offer me an exchange. I explained the situation, and immediately the manager said that the person I spoke to on the phone was unfortunately wasting my time, because this was not the policy. She didn’t seem sympathetic. Didn’t offer any kind of solution. Other than to say I should go get my brand new pair of shoes repaired… if I’m getting them repaired, then you’re acknowledging that there’s something wrong with them… so that would be considered a defect. And if it’s considered a defect, Sofmoc said they would be happy to exchange me a pair. I did not feel satisfied, so I went back to speak to her, and she was just all sass and attitude … just walking back into the store I could see that she was waiting to give me a highbrow… I told her I was not happy that my time was wasted, and that being sent a defective product is not my problem. I shouldn’t be told two different things from the same company. If the solution was to go get my shoes repaired, I should get some kind of discount or credit toward that. She scoffed at the notion, and so I asked to speak to someone who would be able to help me, instead of getting a laugh in my face… but she explained she was the only authority, and nothing could be done… she also said that I was coming off rude. …Rude because I challenged her I’ve worked customer service my whole life and this is not how you deal with a customer who has a problem. I would avoid this location for any service / support. It was very clear, they don’t have any here.
The service is mediocre. Hey staff, merchandise is not free, so the least you can do is put a smile on your face for clients. There will be no next time for me!
It felt like pulling teeth trying to ask the young girls working there to help me. They clearly just wanted to continue talking to each other. Eventually I felt so uncomfortable that I just walked out and bought my shoes from a different store.
Got a new pair of Chuck Taylor converse with the help of Amanda I think she was the manager. Awesome service she was very helpful with my shoe size and found exactly what i needed! Would definitely recommend her whenever you shop here!
