I had the chicken fingers Cajun rub. They were amazing. My hubby had the Beef Yorkshire bowls, although good was a little bland. The server we had was great.
I came in with friends specifically to watch game 2 of the World Series . Imagine my disappointment when I see FOX on every TV broadcasting the game!!! What???!!!!! I asked the server and 2 other employees to see if they can switch. They had no clue..... 1 said we don't have sportsnet , that's a flat out lie as the person behind me was watching a Leafs broadcast earlier on Sportsnet. So I was not happy that my request and those of others were dismissed. I will not be returning to the Bkack Swan for future games, too bad because your food is really good!
Came with my friend to watch NFL here, The bartender didn't look too happy to be here. It also seemed like this bar like to caters to it's regulars over other random guests. The regulars who visit here were also very rude and unwelcoming making comments about people who took there spot at a "table" during the NFL Game. Another regular got aggressive at me when holding the door open for him when leaving the bar. Avoid this place if you're not a regular or else you will feel unwelcome unfortunately.
Drinks are always fast food is always delicious and on point. Naomi S always creates the best atmosphere with an infectious laugh and wonderful personality!
When we arrived we were told to sit wherever we liked, and then we were forgotten about for 15 minutes. We were willing to look past that. We ordered an appetizer and our meals service was friendly and okay. We received our appetizer, and then immediately after, our meals were brought out. Isn't it basic restaurant etiquette to serve the main course after the appetizer has been finished? We had to eat both at the same which was annoying. To make things worse, the burger was severely overcooked, and the crispy chicken wrap tasted like a McDonald's snack wrap. The ingredients were clearly low quality. Please learn basic restaurant etiquette.
We had an amazing experience last night at black swan. I have one name for you when it comes to spectacular customer service. Taylor! She was amazing, sweet, friendly, charismatic and had great suggestions and knowledge of the menu. If you go here you must ask for Taylor to serve you. She is definitely cut out for the hospitality business. I can see her going very far in this industry. Thanks again Taylor and we hope to see you again soon. Ps orange band lol
We were not sure how this would go over. We had been to Wendall Clark's many times and the change felt strange. But we were very happy with the Blk Swan. The place is clean and fresh, the staff were delightful and the food although not perfect, was very good indeed. I am changing my review. I am sitting in here right now and had a request. The one gentleman working here (I use the term loosely) that we asked a question from, berated us for no reason and talked to us like a piece of garbage while sounding condescending. I do not like that. I think he was an owner or manager. Servers are not at fault here. They are nice. So is the food. But that really, really ticked me off and spoiled my dinner.... But on the positive, Naomi is a fantastic server! Awesome job and thanks!
