The food was very good. After bringing our meals, we didn't see our server until we asked for our bill. It was nice to sit by the fireplace, but all the tables were dirty. Our server says they can't be cleaned properly due to the finish on them.
Rachel isn’t just bartending—she’s running the show. Drinks come out perfect every time, like she’s got a PhD in mixology and a minor in mind-reading. She remembers your order, your vibe, and somehow knows when you need another round before you do. Her cocktails are dangerously good (financially and emotionally), her timing is flawless, and she makes the bar feel like the exact place you’re supposed to be. Even on a packed night, she keeps things moving while still making everyone feel like a regular. If Rachel’s behind the bar, you’re in excellent hands. If she’s not, you may want to wait. Give her a raise, name a drink after her, and seriously—protect her at all costs.
As someone who’s had years of serving experience… the service here was mind boggling. Had a reservation, waited a few minutes and both servers acknowledged us before taking us to a table, which was great, fine. After sitting down in the middle of the dining room next to only 3 other booths, the 2 servers walked past us about 20 times and served their other tables right beside us (at one point both servers at 1 table at the same time), and would not even make eye contact with us. Not even having our menus sticking out was enough to hint. We had to just leave after 25 minutes of being invisible in plain sight, with again the server turning a blind eye as we walked out in front of her. It’s not a wonder the place was so dead in the peak of a Saturday night.
Came here for a late night drink and it was the perfect atmosphere. Not too busy, lots of room to have a conversation. Faith was our server and she was phenomenal to have waiting on us. If you're looking for a place too grab a drink, there's nowhere better in Aldershot
An easily accessed location, with a patio for those who enjoy outdoor dining. Nicely appointed dining area, gently separate from the lounge/bar area. The young lady serving us was friendly without being overly familiar, offered both the drink and food specials for the day, and ensured , when she took our order, that she had transcribed it correctly. She also, once the meals were presented to us, was attentive in ensuring it was to our liking. The food was prepared and presented to us in a very timely manner and was well prepared and presented on the serving plates. We enjoyed an original burger and side caesar salad, and the Avocado Club sandwich with a side garden salad. We would highly recommend both meals. The noise level was our only concern but is likely not unusually different from other establishments of a similar building style (high metal ceilings with no apparent sound deadening material) i do admit to a sensitivity to noise levels. I would suggest the installation of sound baffle panels at the ceiling, as I’ve seen in other similar establishments be be considered by the ownership. We left with our hunger satisfied, a great experience at this “new to us” restaurant and quite happy to give it a 5 stars review rating.
5 stars across the board! I never leave reviews, I only read them. But this Fish'n'Chips I had for lunch on a Friday afternoon was so amazing. It was too good not to leave a review. Best fish in Burlington. I've been in the area for over 5 years and have never had fish this good anywhere in the GTHA!! Definitely will be returning for Fish Fry Friday's! Great price and great portion.
Ordered fish and chips for Good Friday one week in advance online, they didn’t have our order, had to show our receipt, messed up order missing gravy we paid for. Do not recommend.
