I have never been to social 99, they do however harass me constantly with text messages. I have replied stop and reported as junk and they just keep coming. I have heard nothing but terrible things about this place and now seeing how shady their marketing is, I will believe every word I have heard.
AJ was a great server. Everything was on time and he was super nice. Made conversation with us and was super friendly and fun to talk to. Great guy. Coco deserves a shoutout too. She made me a great off the menu cocktail when I was bored with the other cocktails. It was delicious. Thanks Coco.
The food came so fast and very tasty! Claudia was our server and she was so lovely and attentive. My friends and I enjoyed the vibe of the patio and will definitely come back again :)
My wife and I had a welcome Friday dinner this evening and a wonderful evening out. She had the chicken parmesan and I had fish and chips but a Ceasar's salad instead of the chips My wife enjoyed her meal but more than once commented how good the chicken was. For me this goes down as one of the best fish and not chips I ever have had. My reason for getting a side ceasar is simple, restaurants the days have crap fries. This is not any restaurant in particular. It is basically an across the board thing. Most restaurants have fries that suck! When you do find fries that don't suck, they rarely are anything that is more than okay. So I always get something else with my meal! Keep in mind I am not singling out Social 99. I am singling out ALL restaurants. But back to the good stuff. My fish was SO tasty! The fish was fabulous and the batter was amazing. The side ceasar was amazing as well. I was incredibly happy with my dinner. Now on to the reason I am actually doing this review. I am writing because my sever AJ was amazing. He was so good at his job! He hit all the checkmark. Frequent check-ins, friendly and personable, very knowledgeable and efficient, customer first mindset and personality. You would think he had been in the business for thirty years. I am not from the restaurant business but come from a service background. I have been unable to work for the past thirteen years but have a ton of retail management experience. Regardless of whether I was a retail manager or a restaurant manager, if I encountered this young man, I would be actively recruiting him. These are the sort of employees you want representing your business. I know I probably annoy my wife sometimes as when I encounter someone like this, I can't stop commenting to her about it. I guess it is ingrained. So I would recommend looking after AJ, as I promise someone will snatch him up if you don't Cheers to Social 99 for an enjoyable and memorable Friday night out!
